Storytelling Workshops
We’re excited to announce that the Plays Aloud Arts Workshops are back this March, funded by the National Lottery Community Fund! This time, we’re bringing the magic of storytelling to 10 care homes across Northern Ireland. Led by the talented Genevieve Swift, a professional storyteller and theatre maker, these workshops are designed to ignite creativity and foster a sense of community.
✨ No Experience Needed—Just Bring Your Imagination! ✨
These fun and interactive workshops are open to all residents, and no prior experience is necessary. Genevieve Swift will guide participants through a series of creative activities, where we’ll build new characters, explore exciting storylines, and share tales inspired by meaningful objects, favourite songs, and even the mysterious treasures inside a lost-and-found red suitcase.
🔍 Who owns the wallet full of money?
🔭 What secrets do the binoculars hold?
💍 And what’s the story behind the empty ring box?
Together, we’ll explore these questions and create stories that are as unique and imaginative as the participants themselves!
Thanks to The National Lottery Community Fund, we’re able to offer these workshops free of charge. They’re open to residents in 10 participating schemes, so look out for exciting updates as the workshops begin!
Join us for a journey of creativity and fun, where storytelling connects us, sparks our imaginations, and leaves us with lasting memories.
